Optimus/Nemesis Prime Transformers RLC Display Assembly Instructions

These instructions are for our folding acrylic Optimus/Nemesis Prime Transformers RLC box display, which consists of three connected, hinged box displays with magnetic front panels. If you haven't assembled this type of case before, we recommend doing one box at a time — the process is the same for each. Consider using gloves during assembly to prevent fingerprints.

Step 1: Lay out the acrylic panels for each box

Keep the protective paper film on the acrylic and lay out all panels on a clean surface, positioning them for easy identification.

Step 2: Start with the bottom panel

Place the bottom panel on the surface with the sticker facing up. Peel off the top protective film.

Step 3: Assemble the walls (left, back, right)

Remove the paper film from the back panel and the side panels (left & right). Assemble the side panels to the back panel, then place them down onto the bottom panel by aligning the tabs and holes.

Important Note: Ensure that any KR logos are right side up and facing outwards. The actual engraving will be on the insides of the side panels.

Step 4: Assemble the top panel

Remove the protective film from the bottom side of the top panel and place it on top of the other panels by aligning the tabs and holes.

Step 5: Secure the panels with hardware

Using the acrylic nuts and stainless screws provided, insert one nut into one of the holes on the top of the right side. While holding the nut in place, insert a screw into the screw hole above and start threading it by hand. Then snug the screw down with the provided hex wrench.

Repeat on the left side. After securing the top, carefully flip the display over and repeat the process on each side.

Important: Do not overtighten.

Repeat Steps 1–5 for each remaining box.

Step 6: Assemble the boxes together with the hinges

After assembling all boxes, lay the large box display face down to make hinge assembly easier. Paying close attention to the top and bottom orientation, place one of the smaller boxes on the back side of the larger display and align the smaller box hinges with the larger box hinges. Insert the hinge binding bolt and nut into the hinge holes and tighten as much as possible. By design, there is enough gap between the binding bolts to allow the hinges to move freely without compression.

Repeat this process for the remaining box and hinges.

Note: You can apply a small dab of Elmer's glue or threadlock on the binding bolts to prevent loosening over time.

Step 7: Place your items inside each box

Carefully place your items inside each acrylic box display.

Step 8: Assemble the front panels

Remove the protective film from both sides of each front panel, then carefully place each panel on the front of its display by aligning the magnets.

Important Note: If the magnets push a panel away, flip it around and try again.

Step 9: Add the final touches

Remove any remaining protective film and clean the display with a microfiber towel for a pristine look.

Cleaning Notes: Avoid Windex or other harsh chemicals. Use an acrylic cleaner or soap and water to maintain the display's appearance. Always use soft cloths like microfiber — avoid paper towels.

Step 10: Enjoy your finished display
